When does the Pope arrive in Peru?

Pope Leo XIV will arrive in Peru on November 10, 2026 for an apostolic visit lasting 8 to 10 days. The tour will include several regions of the country, among them Lima, Piura, Chiclayo, Cusco, Pucallpa, Puno and Iquitos.

Do I need to register to attend the events?

Yes, we recommend registering to receive updated information and secure your participation in the mass events.

Which routes will the Pope travel?

The Pope will visit the cities of Piura and Chiclayo. Specific routes will be published soon in our routes section.

Is there accommodation available near the events?

Yes. In our tourist guide you will find verified hotels, hostels and lodgings near the routes.

What security measures will be implemented?

There will be a security operation coordinated with the National Police, local city watch and volunteers. Check our safety section.

Can I go with my family?

Yes, all events are family-friendly. We recommend registering each family member for better organization.

Is there public transport near the routes?

Yes. Both cities have public transport. In our guide you will find recommended parking lots and stops.

What documents do I need to travel to Peru?

If you are Peruvian: national ID. If you are a foreigner: a valid passport. Some countries require a visa. Check with the Peruvian embassy in your country.

Are ATMs and currency exchanges available?

Yes, you will find banks and ATMs in both cities. There are also exchange houses in tourist areas.

What should I do in an emergency?

Stay calm and contact the emergency numbers: Police (105), Ambulance (106), Fire (116). You can also go to any tourist assistance center.
